How old does my child need to be to start at Orange Crest Preschool?
Orange Crest Preschool takes children from 15 months to 6 years across three classes. Bunny Class is for 15 months to 2 years, Panda Class for 2 to 3 years, and Giraffe Class for 3 to 6 years.
Is Orange Crest a nursery, a kindergarten or a preschool?
All three stages under one roof. Bunny Class and Panda Class form the Nursery Programme, for children 15 months to 3 years. Giraffe Class is a full Montessori classroom covering the kindergarten ages, 3 to 6. Together they make one preschool in Toul Kork, Phnom Penh.
When does the school year start?
The 2026–2027 academic year runs in four terms. Term 1 starts 24 August 2026, Term 2 on 2 November 2026, Term 3 on 1 February 2027 and Term 4 on 9 April 2027.
Can we try the school before enrolling?
Yes. Orange Crest offers a trial month at $699 for one month, and the full amount is offset against your fees when you enrol. It is a real month in a real class, not a taster morning.

What are the school hours?
Bunny Class (15 months – 2 years) runs half day 08:00–11:30 or full day 08:00–15:30. Panda Class (2 – 3 years) runs half day 08:00–11:30 or full day 08:00–15:30. Giraffe Class (3 – 6 years) runs full day 08:00–15:30. The school office is open Monday – Friday 07:30–17:00 and Saturday 07:30–12:00, and closed on Sunday.
Is there a half-day option?
Yes. Bunny Class and Panda Class both offer a half day, which ends after lunch at 11:30. Giraffe Class is full day only. Half-day tuition for the Nursery Programme is $4,900 a year against $5,200 for the full day.
Do the children nap during the day?
Yes, full-day children nap every afternoon. In Bunny and Panda Class the children change clothes and nap from 11:30 to 2:00; in Giraffe Class the nap runs from 12:15 to 2:00, after the longer Montessori lunch break.
Is lunch provided?
Lunch is available at $6 a day and is charged monthly by subscription, separately from tuition. Every class breaks for lunch: Bunny and Panda at 11:00, Giraffe at 11:15.
Is there a uniform?
Yes. A uniform set costs $30 and individual items are $10 each.

What curriculum does Orange Crest Preschool follow?
Orange Crest combines Montessori with the International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC). Giraffe Class follows full Montessori and is led by a member of the International Montessori Council; Panda Class is Montessori-inspired and play-based; Bunny Class is play-based. The school is a full member of the IEYC and is registered with Cambodia's Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport.
What languages are taught?
Lessons are taught in English and Khmer. Every class timetable carries both English and Khmer lesson blocks each week, covering language, numbers, topic work and storytime in both.
Is Orange Crest Preschool accredited?
Yes, by three bodies: International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC), International Montessori Council (IMC), Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MoEYS). Orange Crest is a full member of the IEYC.
What is the Montessori work cycle?
In Giraffe Class the day opens with an uninterrupted Montessori work cycle from 8:00 to 10:15, before outdoor play. It is the longest single block on the timetable, so children can choose their work and stay with it.

How much does a year at Orange Crest Preschool cost?
The cheapest full year is $5,900 — $4,900 tuition for half-day nursery, paid yearly, plus the $1,000 annual capital fee that every child pays. Full-day Nursery tuition is $5,200 a year and the Montessori Programme is $5,500. New families also pay a one-time $800 enrolment fee.
Can I pay the fees in instalments?
Yes, there are three payment plans: yearly, by semester, or by term. Yearly is due 31 July. By semester it is due 31 July and 30 November. By term it is due 31 July, 30 September, 30 November, 28 February. Paying yearly costs the least overall.
Is there a sibling discount?
Yes. A second child receives 10% off and a third child 15%.
How can I pay?
By bank transfer or cash at reception.
What happens if a payment is late?
A late penalty of $5 a day applies, and attendance is suspended once fees are more than 12 school days overdue.

Where is Orange Crest Preschool?
Orange Crest Preschool is at 15 Street 291, Village 9, Boeung Kok 1 Commune, Toul Kork District, Phnom Penh 120407, Cambodia. It is a walled campus in Toul Kork with its own garden, playground and covered walkways.
